Niagara Immigration Employment Council

Deanna D’Elia has worked in the field of social services for over 20 years. She is currently employed with the YMCA of Niagara as Director of Employment Services and provides leadership to a variety of programs that focus on intervention supports, harm reduction education and community integration. Through her participation on community councils/forums, she has contributed to the development of effective strategies supporting the Niagara community. In 2007 Deanna was elected as Regional Director to the ONESTEP (Ontario Network of Employment Skills Training Projects) Board of Directors where she represents employment service providers at the provincial level.

When not at work Deanna, Coach “D”, can usually be found behind the bench of one her children’s soccer or hockey teams. Deanna is life-long resident of Niagara and currently lives in St. Catharines with her husband, Mario, and her two children.
